What fields can be validated?Asked by James Fisher on February 09, 2016 at 04:43 PM
Looking at using JotForm for a number of projects and wondered what fields can be validated. For example, is there an option for JotForm to validate a zip code where it rejects it if letters are entered instead of numbers (for the USA) or if letters are entered for a phone number etc. I see it does that for the age field.
JotForm gives you a lot of validation by default. For example, the 'Number' field accepts any character types but digits. The 'Phone' lets you limit the amount of digits a phone field must contain. Like the 'Number' field, it accept only digits. For zip code there is even better option: 'Zip Code Auto-Suggest' Widget that suggest zip code based on user location. We also have 'Conditions' feature you can use to add more advanced logic to your form.
Please take a look at this from to see some of them.
