    Configurable List: Data disappears in Edit mode when using new Edit Link format

    Aloha - we have been using jotforms for about a year now and have been using it with great success - we love this program.  However, just recently we are having a major problem with one of the widgets called the "configurable list," which we've also been using all along.  We enter data into the configurable list and once it is submitted, the list is showing empty in our submissions.  SOMETIMES, when we open it using the edit link, it will be blank and we have to refresh the page several times and the data will show up again.  Once it shows blank in the submissions directly within the jotforms website, however, then there's no way to get that data back even going in through the edit link.  This is happening in several of our forms, not just one, but I have linked one of the forms it is happening to in the URL space below. 

    Please help!!!  We are using this for our accounting and across our whole business for many purposes and we really need this to work...

    I've cloned your form to my account to test it, and I see that the data is being initially saved in the Configurable List widget:

    Upon using the Edit Link that is sent to the email address for approval, I see that the form is loaded with an empty Configurable List:

    I see this is only happening when using the new format of Edit Link, which looks like this:

    Old format of Edit Link still works correctly:

    I have submitted a bug report to our developers about this, and we will inform you here when the bug is resolved. As a workaround until this is resolved on our back-end, you may want to add an improvised edit link to your email notification, and set it up as the following:

    https://submit.jotformpro.com/form.php?formID=50086559851968&sid={id}&mode=edit

    The above link is for your form 50086559851968. This would open the submission for editing in the old format, which is working correctly with the widget, until our developers fix the new submission editing format. I hope this helps.

    Hello Kelea,

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused by this. 

    A few updates have been made to restore the feature - and prevent it from happening. 

    While editing submissions, the form will load all values previously submitted via the Configurable list. 

    Please check and let us know if we missed something.

    Thank you TitusN.  The info is not dropping anymore when following the edit link from our email notifications, HOWEVER - when we click edit directly in the jotforms submissions section, all the data disappears.  We can cancel edit and the data reappears, but if we click submit from there, the data is dropped permanently.

    Thank you for your response. I've tested your form. I am able to reproduce the same issue that you're having when I click edit on the submission page.

    A ticket had already been escalated to our next level support and currently, one of our developer was already assigned to fix the issue. Be sure that, we will inform you via that thread when we solve the problem.
