When I have a list of checkbox items, it is hard to automatically parse them from each other.  Would it be possible to add an option to store the values with a specific delimiter or not?

    Thanks,

I'm not sure what you mean. Is this a problem on the submissions page or email? Do you have trouble understanding which answers were checked on a checkbox question?

Ok, so on a form that has one field with 15 checkbox options, all 15 items would be stored in one field in a csv/xls export.

There is not an easy way to determine which options were checked within the file.  I am asking for an option to add or not add a delimiter between the checkbox options when they are stored in the single field.

For example, a checkbox with the following items:

    Test1

    Test2

    Test3

    Test4

    Test5

as check items would look like:

    Test1 Test2 Test3 Test4 Test5 within the cvs export field.

I am asking for it to look like:

Test1:Test2:Test3:Test4:Test5 for example if I set the delimiter string to be a :.

    Thanks.

Unfortunately, that's not possible. What you can do is to add multiple questions. Add one question for each checkbox. That would create separate columns for each checkbox question.

Ok, so I have done exactly that and the form, due to default spacing, etc looks aweful as I cannot put multiple fields in to columns, etc.

Any other suggestions.  This is a huge deal breaker for us as we are unable to process our customer interests.

    Thanks,

I think you should get the full form source code and then open it in your favorite HTML editor such as DreamWeaver and then customize it to look like exactly how you need it. That's why we provide the full form source code, so that you are not limited to options provided on the JotForm Form Builder.

To get full form source code, open the form on the Form Builder:
    1. Open "Setup & Share" tab on toolbar,
    2. Click on "Share Form"
    3. Click on "Advanced Options"
    4. Click on "Full Source Code".
