Conditional required fields not updating when original selection changedAsked by Sian on February 10, 2016 at 05:29 AM
We have set up conditional fields (required) which respond to a drop-down selection.
For example: If select option a, conditional options appear as normal. However if I change my mind and then select option b instead of a, the conditional options for a. do not disappear and I am then stuck - as the options no longer correspond to the question.
What is the fix for this?
Since you are using a form collapse, you should set it to hidden and open. Here's our complete guide on how you can show/hide fields by form collapse:
When using this method, I would suggest that all fields under one option should be added to a single form collapse. One form collapse for Writer and one form collapse for the director and so on.
