    Quiz Form app is not saving selected answers

    Now its fixed but the answer key keeps resetting, so we're getting email notifications with unscored tests. What the heck! :(

    Can you please explain in more details which answers keeps resetting and where? On my test form is seems that everything is working properly. If possible please provide us a screenshot.

    No matter how many times I add the answers and click "Save Quiz" the answers don't save. The form stays blank, and exam results are received unscored.

    As you can see from the question before, it was grading just fine until the order was corrected.

    I have tested one more time on my sample form and I can see answers I saved. 

    It seems that you have deleted your form http://www.jotform.com/10732640770 from previous thread that we were testing. Can you please provide us ID of the form on which you are working now? You can also try to use different browser to see if there you are able to save your Quiz form. I was using Chrome when I was testing my sample form.

    I have found your form and I was able to replicate mentioned issue on my cloned form. Each time when I opened Quiz Form app answers that I previously set were deleted. 

    I will escalate this issue to our developers and we will inform you via this thread once this issue is resolved.

    Its not fixed, it just keeps resetting. If it doesn't score, its useless to me. Please help!!

    I will let our developers know about it. But I would like you to consider the following: 

    - The form you are referring to is 'ASCA Level 1 Certification Exam' I think. I have made an exact clone and test it, each time I get the results, from email, the thank you page and the Quiz App page.

     

     

    - I want to point out that, if you check a question and do not choose the answer for that checked question its result will always show as blank. You can double check to ensure all questions have the corresponding answer marked as in the screenshot bellow. 

     

    If you could make a clone of the Form 'ASCA Level 1 Certification Exam' and make the above test, it would be really helpful for troubleshooting.

    OK so the email notification shows no results. I was able to reproduce the issue with a clone.

     

     

    But I still get results from Quiz App page and the email I set in 'Email Results to'. While developers are taking care of this issue I will suggest you check 'Email Results to' and add the address you want results to be emailed.

    Also please confirm for us if you are able to view results when you click 'Show Results' button from Quiz page. You might be already aware of this guide but it can be useful : Turn-your-form-into-a-Quiz-or-Exam

    According to my tests, I'm able to produce to "Results" value on the email. Please, see it from the below:

     

    Please, follow the steps which have provided from my colleague and try to receive the result email again. Also, please don't forget to let us know about the results.

    In addition, the ticket is still open, so when there is an update about this issue, you will be informed from this thread through email.

    Nothing has changed, the email is still broken.

     

    These are the values I have in my email template:

    {question01:given} ({question01:correct})

    {question01:tick}

     

    I cannot find the Thank You page wizard pictured in other JotForm support tickets.

    Can you email me the HTML code for the standard notification email?

     

    This email template renders this blank template in the email notification received "Options: Email Results to". The name, phone, email and address all populate the way they are supposed to, but not the submitted answers or scores. Please help!

    Please provide me with the correct shortcode to add to my email template, or explain to me why the email template is not populating the information the shortcode is supposed to input.

    I have cloned your form and tested my cloned form, but I was not able to replicate mentioned issue. Correct answers were shown on thank you page and inside of Custom result email Notification that I received. 

    If you have issues with Quiz results that are sent to your email address I would suggest you to reset custom result editor.

    Also to receive custom result email you need to enter your email address in email result field of form quiz app. 

    You can get HTML code of your custom email by clicking on HTML option.

    No, this did not help. Please forward me the result email notification that you received to my email address on my account, so I can see what you're seeing.

    If what you are referring to is the email notification from your account, as far as I know, it will not show the quiz result or any graphical representation of the answers. I don't think the default email notification keep track of the quiz result.

     

    Only the Quiz app perform the task of calculating, displaying the thank you page with the result along with the graphics, and send you the notification the same way.

    You can remove the notification from the form, and rely on the one from Quiz App. From Quiz setting, add the email to receive the notification and the email subject, and customize the email if you need to.

    I would like the user to receive a copy of his graded submission as well. Can I put "youremail@email.com; {email:given}" in the Email Results To: input field? Will that work?

    I'm not sure this will work, because the 'Email results to' does not appear to accept variable. 

    Since 'Show Results to user after submission' is enabled, what you could do is advise the users to save the Thank you result as PDF after they submit the form, and send them a custom Autoresponder if you need to.
