auto complete widget will not accept more than 1,800 entries

As of today the auto-complete drop down is no longer saving all of the values I've entered. It is a long list (18,638 values) that previously worked.

Can you tell me how to fix this?

I see a total of 1872 values in the autocomplete field.

Are you saying that the value is not saved upon completing the submission?  I made a clone of your form and performed a test, the value shows up in the submission. Please give us more details about the issue you are experiencing with your form.

The autocomplete has 18,638 total values. It is saved in the editor but not when trying to embed the form.

Can you give me more lights on this?

So the submissions are not showing a sort of report that you embed in your page (grid listing report, html report, etc)

Or whenever you embed the form and make a submission it won't show up?

Please take pictures of it and embed it on your next post, using this guide.

In creating the form I've entered in 18,000 options.

When viewing the form as an end user, the form does not have all 18,000 options in it. Instead it cuts off around item 1800. This is 10,000 options short.

    Make sense?

Ok, thank you for giving us more details. Certainly there is a limit of entries for this widget, let me forward an inquiry to our devs to see if they can do something to increase the limit.

Thanks but this used to work fine. The limit was not present in the past.

Yes there's a character limit in it specially on most widgets - I believe the max character limit is 65536 (which is usually the largest value you can enter on fields). This limit ensures that the form works and loads normally. Too many characters will cause the browser to freeze. 18,000 is quite huge. I'm afraid it will slow down your form once it is rendered on a browser. I suggest to download your form source code for now and apply the options manually on the form source code while there is not updates about this from the higher team.

    Thanks!

That is no good. I'm, trying to achieve something similar. I need to have the list with all the suburbs/post code  to search & choose from.

I can see it been used all over the internet in forms but could not figure out how to achieve it with Jotform. There are about 15000 Subrubs in Australia that would be more than the character limit.

Attached screenshot of what I'd like to achieve

This is a link for an example of website where they use a working/fast widget:

    https://au.moving24.com/

And this is the  link to my form when I tried to add the suburbs into AutoComplete but its not working well :-(

Please advise how that can be achieve?
