Some Fields on Form are not getting Encrypted

Asked by BeckyBennett on February 15, 2016 at 05:50 PM
There are still parts of the cloned forms encrypted submissions that are not coming across encrypted. For the form at https://www.jotform.com//?formID=60456407884968 (a cloned form) the following fields are not encrypted:
    Birth Date
    Marital Status
    Status
    Status
Why are these fields not encrypted?

Unfortunately, I do not have an encryption key for your form so I am unable to check your submissions for the fields that are unencrypted. However, I do suggest disabling the encryption for your form. Then clear the browser cache. You can do so by following this guide: How To Clear Browser Cache. After that, try enabling the encryption again then check your latest submissions in the submission page.

Do let us know if the issue persists. For more information on encrypted forms, you can view our FAQ by clicking on this link: What are Encrypted Forms and how to use them as expert?

Here is a link to a sample submission. You do not need the encryption key to see what I’m talking about. Some of the fields are not encrypted. If you need the encryption key as well just let me know.

From what I can see just looking at the submission you are referencing it's notable that the "submission date", "birth date", "martial status", and "status" are not encrypted.

Are those the fields you are noticing on your end as well? Please confirm or correct me and then we'll report this to our developers to get this issue fixed asap.

    Hi Brian,

This issue is now fixed. Dropdowns and birth date fields should now be encrypted and decrypted properly.

    Kind regards,
