Autoresponder does not recognize the Email Address Field

    2. The Autoresponder does not recognize the email adress field given automatically when someone submits the form. It keeps on saying 'preselect'. See attachment 2.

    The issue with your autoresponder not recognizing the email address field for setting it to the email address of the sender is happening due to the fact that your fields have no labels so what you are seeing is a reflection of that in the autoresponder's settings.

    A better option to fix this problem would be for you to have the labels there but hide them with css via the form designer or injected css so that they show up and this way you can select them properly to set that up in the autoresponder as you were initially doing.

    Hello KadeJM, initial CSS inject test revealed indeed that sublabels are not recognized as true labels by the Autorespond app. :-(. Form designer showed unwanted buggy behaviour so I leave the designer for what it is at this point.  Well, I guess I've got some label work to do here. I'll let you know if the form is ready to roll.
