    Hello!

We got our form all spruced up with some great widgets are we are all excited to replace our old, much less smart form...

However it takes a VERY long time from submit to the thank you page, I just slowly counted to 35

We are using Zapier to get data into our CRM, would that effect load time???

    Thanks,

    Mark

Hello again...NO, things are not fine...the form is still VERY, VERY slow taking 25+ seconds to accept the input, much too long to be acceptable. This form does have Xverify email in it as well as a widget for address completion. Is that part of the problem?

Please advise. We cannot go live with a form that takes almost half a minute to submit.

    Thanks!

    Mark

    Mark,

Is your form https://form.jotform.com/43385477524160 embedded on a website page? Can you share the URL of the website to us if it is. We can also check on the website.

I did test the form using its URL and I was also able to encounter the slow loading. It took 23secs for the complete load.

I found that the Geolocation widget took the bulk of the loading due to stalling issue during authentication process

What I suggest you can try for now also is to refresh the Geolocation widget. Just re-run the wizard to refresh it, then, save the form.

You can test again afterward to see if it makes any difference.

Do let us know if issue still remains.

    Thanks.

    Hello again.
First, no, right now the form is not embedded anywhere.
I updated widget, it does load much faster now.
    1. Do we think that fix will stick?
Also, now when I click "Submit" i briefly see an error message that I
cannot even read. Then it seems to submit but the "Please Wait" does not
    show.
If I click submit again, Please wait shows.
I removed the submit button and re-installed with no improvement.
    2. How we fix the "Please wait" problem?
    Thanks!

The issue seems to be with the Xverify widget. The error message that you are referring is not displayed without Xverify widget on my test form. Let me run few tests to check on this further. Could you check if E-mail validator widget works for you in the place of Xverify widget?

    Hello again,
Thanks for your efforts on our behalf. We do not want to use the
validator...too many steps/complexity for what the form is designed for. We
    REALLY like the Xverify...!
    Workarounds:
    1. Is there a way to create TWO email fields that check each other for
accuracy (and won't allow for cut and paste of the data from email #1 to
    email #2) ?
    2. Is there anyway to tweak the regular email field to at least check for
domain misspellings like yaho.com or gmal.com
    We get plenty of those...
    Thanks,
    Mark

    1. Is there a way to create TWO email fields that check each other for
accuracy (and won't allow for cut and paste of the data from email #1 to
    email #2) ?

This can be achieved by enabling the Confirmation option of the Email Address field

    2. Is there anyway to tweak the regular email field to at least check for

I would suggest you check the widget, Email Correctness Check and see if that satisfies what you would like to achieve.

Let us know if you need any further assistance. Thank you.

    Thanks!

    Knowledge base suggestion:

This may already exist but I don't see it.

Create a page that clearly list all our of our options when collecting

email info. I now see FIVE options that each have their + or -.

Consider including Description, Pro/Con and Set up on on the same page

would be amazing and would mean clueless guys like me would not have to

    bother you :)

This could be done for addresses etc. etc.

Also, are the bugs going to be fixed like the "Please Wait" and error msg

    flashing upon submit

    Thanks!

    Mark

Thanks for the suggestion, Mark. We'll constantly update our guides when we see some changes to the interface or new features are implemented. We'll definitely work on the document that can help users to take a quick overview of the options available.

I've moved the question related to flashing error message to a separate thread which shall be addressed shortly.
