it sounds like your email notifications still contain the old text. You can update your email notifications by clicking on the Emails button, and then Edit button of the notification/autoresponder you wish to edit:
There you will be able to update the text of your desired email autoresponder or notification. You can also try setting up a new one, by using the Create New Email button.
