    I'm afraid that this is not possible at the moment.

    We could use custom CSS to change its color, for example, but we cannot change the text/wording of the placeholder in the GeoComplete widget at the moment.

    We can forward this as a feature request to our widgets developers, if you want, though it would likely be of lower priority unless more people were to ask for such a thing. Please let us know if that is how you'd like us to proceed. Thank you.

    +1 for this feature. I am not the OP, but I am requesting for you to forward this to the developers to get it done, regardless of priority level. If more than one person is requesting it, it's wanted. Period.

    Hi There,

    Yes please forward it to the developers as it should be up to the user to choose the wording.

    Thank you

    Hi everyone,

    On the widget's "Custom CSS" tab, the HTML "<input>" are clearly seen with its rules; but it is not editable as my colleague has already mentioned. Please, see it from the below:

    <input autocomplete="off" placeholder="Enter a location" style="font-size: 12px; width: 300px;" class="geoComplete" type="text">

    Now, I'm going to open a feature request for this thread, so our developers will be on that issue as soon as possible. When there is an update about this issue, you will be informed from this thread via email.

    Thanks.

    You are most welcome. I also add that I can't give you any exact release date for this feature, it all depends on workload of our developers. In addition, there could be some restrictions, because the widget is using the Google Maps API.

    At this point, we will see what is going to happen.

    Regards.
