How can I create sections or categories for my questions, to be read in the output?

I have several forms with a series of questions in different categories, 'Fire' , 'Water', 'Electrical' etc. and these are currently separated by text headings. The responses are integrated in to a spreadsheet and I then intend to do some manipulation with them. My issue is that I or someone in the office sometimes change the questions and I need to know which category the question comes under without having to manually do it in the spreadsheet. Is there a way to add a 'category' to each question in jotform so that that the responses are easier to manipulate? Thanks Jack

Do you mean to have the category name for each question to be displayed in the spreadsheet? I don't think it is possible since the columns of the spreadsheet will be having the field labels. In this case, you'll need to have the category name to be set in the field label in order to identify the column name from which category.

Generally, if you can use Matrix field the submissions results on an excel sheet would be displaying the field name as the category name. But I see there are some additional fields on your form with conditions that might go complicated with your requirement. You may give a try using matrix field to see how it works.
