Get Responder's Choice as TextAsked by daisyaprilyvette on February 26, 2016 at 10:41 AM
Hi! How can I get the text value of the responder's choice (from drop down, radio button, etc.)? I'm putting a summary of their answers at the bottom of the page so that they can review and change their choices before they submit the form. The copy value from field does not work. Thanks!
If I understood you correctly, you are trying to pass text value from drop down and radio button field to text box field. Is that correct?
You can achieve that with conditional logic option UPDATE / CALCULATE FIELD.
You can use option Copy multiple filed values. You also need to set field value on A-Z.
If you are unable to set this conditions inside of your form, please provide us ID of your form and tell us from which fields you want to pass values to which fields.
Considering that you mentioned that you want to allow your users to review answer they entered inside of your form, I would suggest you to use Preview before submit widget. Inside of this guide you can find how to add a widget to your form: http://www.jotform.com/help/252-How-to-Add-a-Widget-to-your-Form
Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.
