    Birthday picker, select between dates.

Asked by anekro on February 22, 2012 at 07:32 AM

Hi, is it possible to configure birthday picker between years? I want to use it as a weeding day picker so i need to use years between 2012 and 2018.

Also in Spanish i would like to change Novembre, because it's translated as "from Novembre".

    Thanks

It is not currently possible to edit any of that field's drop downs from within the form builder. The form's full source would have to be copied from the Embed Form Wizard and the content of the years and months in the respective drop downs altered in a text editor. (Notepad++ is quite good but Notepad would also work.) After that has been done, copy the code from the text editor and paste it into the web page on which the form is to appear.

Here's a simple page containing such a form. Viewing the source will guide you as to how your own form's embedded code should be edited. Of course, you may enter the years in ascending order if you prefer. (The same applies to the other drop downs.)

This would be a great feature to add to the Properties for a date picker.  It's annoying to have a date range of 1920 to 2037 when you might need a limited range for a particular form, and you don't want to embed the entire source code of a form.
