Can I have the customer fill a short form, then apply answers to a longer form on the next page?

Hi,

I want visitors to be able to do one of 2 options: fill out a large form on a designated page, or fill a small form on the home page and upon "submit" (it obviously wont be called "Submt"), the visitor is taken to the above designated page where they will fill out the rest of the form. The fields they already filled should be populated with their previous answers. Is this something that can be done?
