    New Pricing Structure

    Hello,

     

    Everything has been working great and I have referred many people to your site to receive the same great service and product that I have. A couple of months ago I received an email that disclosed that pricing was going to change but that I was "grandfathered" into the Premium plan because I have been a member for a good amount of time. That was appreciated and ultimately kept me as a loyal member. I understand that pricing changes, but appreciated the loyalty incentive, as I would have been turned off by a sudden and significant pricing increase. However, I just received another email stating that pricing is changing again, but this time, views are now incorporated.

    In order to prevent my services from being interrupted, I am being forced to upgrade to a plan that is $39 per month, when I am currently paying $90 per year, essentially negating my "loyalty incentive". This is an extreme increase for a small business and is an unjust way to structure your fees. I currently have a form on every single page of my website, which is great for your exposure, but now the average visitor will now start costing me a ridiculous amount of form views. In many cases, the form is at the very bottom of my pages, where most visitors will never even see it, and now I am being charged for those views?

    Please help me to understand this method of charging and provide me with a solution to my concern. I assume analytics are going to be provided to show evidence of how many views were reached and on which forms/pages those views came from if this system is going to be implemented.

    This is extremely off-putting and has put me in a position where I have to either quadruple my form expenses or remove forms from a significant amount of pages, neither of which I am in favor of. Aside from that, now I have to worry about how many times the forms have been viewed so that they aren't disabled randomly, resulting in a loss of business?

    I would really appreciate an explanation or revocation of this new pricing system. If someone is not using your product, we are being charged for it anyways? That would be comparable to a browsing fee at a retail store, which would obviously dissuade consumers. I hope to remain a loyal member of your services, but will start exploring other options in case a solution can't be reached.

    The email you have received is an announcement in advance and the form views counters will be reset back to zero as of March 01, 2016 along with other submission limits.

    the link to the message from the jotform founder does not work. I also have the same concerns as Casey as to this unilateral, dramatic increase in price to your services. I also would really appreciate an explanation or revocation of this new pricing system. If someone is not using your product, we are being charged for it anyways? I am very concerned at the moment as to the way your company is doing business.
