How to download individual files that were submitted through our forms

Asked by LucyWeil on March 01, 2016 at 11:58 AM

Hi, I'm making an online application form. I've used the Image Upload Preview and the Drag and Drop Upload widgets so that applicants can upload a picture of themselves (jpeg) and their CV (pdf).

However, when the form is submitted, it seems that the pdf CV isn't being submitted. Is there a way that we can access what the applicants upload in the file formats that they uploaded them in? With the photos, the images are included in the PDF submission form, but it would be better if we could access them as jpeg files.

Thank you for your help :)

You can access and download your submissions directly from your submissions page:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/269-How-to-view-Submissions

From that page, you can download any files as individual files - simply click on the JPEG image for it to open, and save the image from there.

You can also download uploaded images in bulk, by using the Download All Uploads button on the submission page, though this feature is limited to either 200 MB or 200 files, whichever comes first:

What you can do as well, is to set up an integration with Dropbox or with Google Drive. This will automatically make a copy of all submitted files directly in your integrated Dropbox or Google Drive folder, so that it is easier for you to access them.

The integration will forward only the files that are submitted after the integration is set up, so you will still have to download your previous files manually. This is only something I believe may be of help in the future. :)
