I have a registration form that uses Braintree to process credit cards. I have to edit a submission, but the form is telling me that I can't submit the edits without a valid credit card number.

I found this article in the support forum (http://www.jotform.com/answers/596070-Is-it-possible-to-edit-a-submission-on-a-payment-form-and-charge-only-the-difference-generated-by-the-changes-made-on-the-submission) and it said that the payment gateway wouldn't be triggered (for Authorize.net, anyway) upon an edit.

I tried doing that for my form, and when I hit submit, I got a system error saying I needed a valid credit card number.

Is it possible to edit submissions with Braintree without triggering the payment gateway?

I have tested and unfortunately it is not possible to edit submissions that used Braintree to process a credit card.

When I tried to edit submission I was not able to submit the form without entering credit card information.

I will escalate this issue to our developers. We will inform you via this thread if there is any update.

Any luck on getting the edits to work without triggering the payment gateway?

This seems to have been implemented by one of our developer as of checking.

I also made a test just now and I can now edit the form without requiring to enter credit card on braintree field. Please try it now.

    Thanks!
