How can I change the username on my login?

You cannot change your username on your account settings, but we can change your username for you. Simply tell us the new username that you would like to use and we would change it accordingly. You can also give us alternate usernames in case your first choice is already taken. We will wait for your reply.

We can change your username from AthleteTrax2 to Premier1Events. However, just to confirm, please note that if you are using custom URLs on your forms, they will no longer work after changing your username. You'll need to recreate them. BUT the default form URL (the one that has the form ID) will still be accessible and should not have any problems.

Regarding your question, you won't really have a custom URL on your forms by default, you have to set it up manually. Here's a guide to learn more about custom form URL: http://www.jotform.com/help/261-How-to-create-a-Custom-URL-of-a-form. If you are not using any custom URLs on your form, then it is safe to change your username.

Hi, I would just like to change my username, but if it will affect my forms then changing it would not be a good option. How difficult would it be to adjust forms properly to adhere to the new username?

 

 

As mentioned, the only thing that will be affected by the changed in username is the custom URLs on your form. If you are not setting up custom URLs on your form as mentioned in this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/261-How-to-create-a-Custom-URL-of-a-form. Then there won't be any problems.

The reason why the current custom URL on your form will not work anymore is because it bears the old username.

Example:

Here's my custom URL:

https://form.jotform.com/Charlie/TheCustomForm -> Notice the username "Charlie" on it.

The default URL of that one is this:

https://form.jotform.com/60624954091962 -> This one has the form ID on it.

 

After changing my username "Charlie" to let's say "CharlieTest", then my custom URL above will not work anymore because it bears the old username "Charlie". You'll need to recreate the custom URL.

However, the default URL will still be accessible and won't be affected. I hope this is clear, please do let us know if you still have questions on this.
