Can you rename uploaded files by a system before you download completed forms?Asked by jadadevoh on March 03, 2016 at 04:01 PM
Is it possible to create a naming system for uploaded files. Example- a picture (johnspic.jpg) uploaded by John Doe in the picture section of a form will be downloaded with a new naming system- "last_first_section name_orignal name of file"
In the case of the example, the picture will be downloaded with the name " Doe_john_picture_johnspic "
Unfortunately there is no way to achieve that with file upload.
What I could recommend is that you use Google Drive Integration: http://www.jotform.com/help/192-How-to-Integrate-a-Form-with-Google-Drive
Or DropBox integration: http://www.jotform.com/help/77-Upload-to-Dropbox-with-JotForm
So you can configure different folders per submission and maybe store in that way your uploads.
Please let me know if that can help you.
