Limit one choice between 3 drop downs

There are 3 dropdowns menus with multiple options within each. I would like user to be able to select only one option within the group, is this possible?

In the link, under event categories: Womens, Mens, Mixed are the dropdowns. Right now you can select an option in each of those categories. If user selects "Womens" + "Tandem", I want the other dropdowns "Mens" and "Mixed" locked.

Never mind on this question.

I eliminated the three dropdowns and made one radio button group that has all available options.
