I'm doing a broadcast email, and I need to link to a form to collect the data in a database and also email me the information when someone submits the form.

Are you planning to embed the form itself on an HTML email? It is possible but we don't recommend it. The reason is that most email providers will block that email or strip the code. We use Javascript code or Iframe method in order to embed the form in webpages. Most email provider limit the support for HTML emails that has scripts on it. There is a higher chance that you will encounter a problem sending it. Your receiver will also encounter an issue wherein the form would be blank, spam or it could be tagged as malicious email.

You can share the form's direct URL to your users via email so that they can click it. Once they clicked it, they will be redirected to the stand alone form. Here's a guide: How-to-Send-a-form-via-email

You can set up an email notification so that you will be notified via email once a new submission comes in.

You can view the submissions in the submissions area. You can then download them as PDF, excel or CSV
