    Automatic download after purchase

Asked by cdcforms on February 23, 2012 at 03:51 PM

Is there a way to set up my forms for automatic download after purchase. I have created forms to sell ebooks. I would like for the purchaser to be able to automatically download the ebook after purchase.

And if so, I have created several forms so far...is there a way to edit them for automatic download in multiples?

    Thanks in advance

There is a couple of way you can do this, depending on how you forms are configured one may be better than the other.

Both make use of using a Custom URL as a 'thankyou' page.

You can read about setting one up here

Option 1 is to point the redirect at the download file itself.

Option 2 is to create a page on your webserver, add a thankyou message, and add this piece of code to the page that will launch the download:

    <iframe width="1" height="1" frameborder="0" src="//mysite.com/pathto/file.zip"></iframe>

Option 2 in most instances is probably the best solution, you can see it working here

Unfortunately there is no way to automate this process, you will have to configure each form manually.

    Hi !

Is there a possibility to allow the download of several files with the same form ?

For example, a client fill in a form, selecting 2 publications to download in a list of 5.

After saving, it redirects to a "thank you" page with the 2 links to download the publications.

OR : redirecting to 2 "thank you" pages ?

    Thanks a lot !

    @aylin77

You can easily set up your 2 links into a single Thank You page

    1. Open you Thank you page wizard (you need to have your form on edit view) and choose any name for your link

    2. Highlight the name and click on the insert/edit link button from the tool bar, as shown below

    3. Type the URL (or copy/past) where you wish to redirect the user

Here you see a screen with my examples, you can align them to the left, center or right

Hope this sorts out your question.

Should you need more assistance, let us know

Are you saying that your IP Address is blocked by JotForm? Would you mind creating a separate thread for this new issue?
