Will the email that was previously sent be automatically re-sent once removed? If not, how do you resend it since it was configured as a notification from the form what was already successfully submitted?

No, we do not re-send failed email alerts. You may consider using a Reply/Forward option on a form Submissions page to do this manually. Note, that email format will be different from your form email notification in this case.
