    Uploaded file that was deleted by the user still appears when user saves and continues later.

    If I understand your question correctly you can not upload the additional file when you use {edit_link} function on your autoresponder. 

    First of all, when I've checked your autoresponder I see that there are missing fields on your autoresponder.

    I've cloned your form which is https://form.jotform.com/60672905229964 and added the {edit_link} function on your autoresponder. I am not able to reproduce the same issue that you're having.

    Here is how it works on my side:

    Can you provide the form ID and additional information about your concern? At that time, we can assist more properly.

    hi Beril,

    This problem is occurring prior to submitting an application - therefore the edit link is not relevant at this stage. We are purposefully not allowing editing of forms by the user post-submission.

    The issue has been identified when a user accesses their form to finish filling it out over multiple sessions using the save and resume process (using one form to create a unique form ID, which then provides a link in the auto-responder email to the larger complete form which they then link to from an email provided).

    The problem is with DELETING files from the list of a draft form moreso then adding new ones (although this is problematic too in google chrome). A user has closed their unsubmitted form, reopened it using their unique session link provided, and found that uploaded items they had deleted from the list had reappeared. I tested it to replicate the problem and it appears that in google chrome if I remove items from a file upload field, click "save and go to next page" in the page break, and then return to previous page, the deleted items reappear.

    In internet explorer I have been able to add new files, but the same problem exists - any files I delete from the file upload field reappear in the list.

     

    It looks as though the problem only appears when a user accesses the form via a link with a unique session ID, and not when the form is accessed directly via the "publish" link.

    I have replicated this across multiple forms we have created and the issue is with both the single and multiple file upload fields.

     

    If you wish to replicate the issue you can fill out/submit this form, which will then email you a unique form ID directing you to the larger form with the malfunctioning upload fields in it.

    I cloned your form and I was able to replicate the issue. I deleted the uploaded file and the session was saved, but when I opened the form again with the session, the file was still there.

    I will have to escalate this issue to our backend team for further investigation. We will inform you on this thread once there are any updates.
