When I make my form mobile responsive and embed into my site, my form mAsked by neroplus on March 09, 2016 at 09:23 PM
When I make my form mobile responsive and embed into my site, my form moves from 2 columns to 1 column. This is very frustrating, any fixes?
This is a re-post of a comment on How to make mobile friendly forms on JotForm
Could you please share us the website page where your form is embedded so that we can further check it?
If you are viewing it on a mobile device, then it will most likely adjust it's layout for better viewing.
We'll wait for your response.
Yes the form is on the first page of www.hspropertyfunds.com
I am referring to mobile site. The site is currently set to non responsive
so it looks how I want it to look but when scrolling on mobile page it gets
stuck or you can't scroll. Just doesn't function properly, pretty sure
this happens often because it has happened on several of my sites. Look
forward to hearing back from you.
I'm checking your website on my Android Kitkat device, and it actually is mobile responsive.
Here are my screenshots:
At the bottom.
It is still two column in my end.
The reason for the scrolling issue is more like on how Wix.com is displaying your form, it is displayed in an iFrame manner, where when you scroll inside it, the frame itself scrolls also. However, at the end of the frame, you should still be able to continue scrolling.
Here's another test on iPhone 6S on Safari browser.
I strongly suggest checking your Wix editor in mobile mode and see if you can increase the height of the element holding the form, from there, if the height matches or exceeds the height of the form, then the scroll should not be visible anymore, which means users don't need to scroll it anymore.
Here's a screencast showing how I am adjusting the height of the element holding the form (in mobile editor mode):
