How can I populate a field from a url?

Asked by J3671029r on March 09, 2016 at 09:55 PM

I am trying to create a page where a promo code is in the url and it populates into my promo field.  Any suggestions on making that happen?

    http://www.justmy.com/justmymemphis/safarilp/RegisterMe.html?pCode=111112

    http://www.justmy.com/justmymemphis/safarilp/RegisterMe.html?pCode=11548

Notice that whatever the promo code is, it gets populated to the form.  Can I do that with a jot form?

    Page URL:

Yes, it is possible to populate a field from a URL parameter. To do so, simply follow this guide: Prepopulating fields to your JotForm via URL parameters
