Z-index on Feedback Form

    The Feedback form is a prayer answered. I have two questions:

    1. How can I adjust the z-index on the form so it shows up in FRONT of a javascript menu? I have changed the menu's z-index to -10000 but no luck. The form keeps appearing behind the menu. Any help? Any way to lower or raise the Feedback form's z-index?

    2. Is there ANY way to adjust the orange in the header bar of the feedback form? The red/yellow site we're working on, well, the colors are just awful together. I'm happy to keep the header bar and see the "orangebox" class in the code. Are there any other classes we can use to change the color of the header bar?

    Many thanks for a great program.

    Feedback on my own question: I got the guys who built the menu system we use to show me how to set the z-index on the menu, so my own question #1 is answered.

    But Question #2 would be really helpful to get a color choice. Many thanks.

    Can you share the answer to the javascript question please. I have also noticed that on pages containing more than one script, the feedback button disappears, but the "invisible" button still functions. to see what i mean, hover on the right side of this page: http://silferstudios.com/galleries/photo/

    We use a lot of PVII extensions, especially to build menus. The menu container div is set to relative and z-index of 99999 to ensure it's ALWAYS on top, in case there's a flash or other scripted image below the menu. That's the usual case.

    However, for a new site under development, no flash, we wanted the Jotform form above the menu. First, I deleted the z-index of 99999 and that didn't work. Then I tried fooling around with the Jotform script (of course, that failed). The PVII guys (I highly recommend them if you're a web developer) provided this css:

    #p7PMM_1, #p7PMM_1 div, #p7PMM_1 ul, #p7PMM_1 li {
         z-index:300 !important;

    Note: this pertains ONLY to the PVII menus we use. But it's the z-index line that you should attach to the correct div for whatever is blocking the Jotform feedback form.

    As for the hover you've got going on, I'm sure that's inside the blog css (there are a number of stylesheets attached to your site) and you could find it. There's a color hover or bg hover on the div containing the feedback/contact button (I'm pretty sure, but didn't study it). You'd probably have to enter an additional div with separate a:link, a:visited, a:hover OR take that script for Jotform out of the div it's in, if possible. Sounds like 1-2 hours of work :)

    Jotform makes a GREAT product and we're happy to pay for it because we use it a lot. I just wish I could get rid of the orange top bar on the feedback form, just because the color clashes too often with our site designs. I'd like to see some additional classes to choose from.
