How does the drag and drop method work?Asked by kkhan on March 10, 2016 at 03:16 PM
I just don't understand how the drag and drop is supposed to work. When I try to move something, I see dotted lines flashing in seemingly random places several inches above and below the item I am trying to move, and where I am trying to move it to.
I have inserted several boxes of Text (not text boxes or text fields), as well as text fields. Everything has been sized (at least, as far as I know) so that one of each fits on one line. Sometimes I can use the properties button to move an item to a new line, but it often doesn't stay put. The experience is totally frustrating.
The bottom part of my form is fine (if I don't touch it). The top half just won't cooperate.
Trying to become familiar with CSS. Not sure if this is an issue related to padding, the overall width of the form - or what.
This is how the drag and drop works.
The lines that appear will indicate you the position where the field will be placed.
If it is not working or if it is not working as expected, please share us the link/name of your form, we will be glad to take a look.
