This form has not even gone live & you show almost 20,000 views. Something is wrong on your end.

    Hi,

When I checked on your website, I can view the form http://www.jotform.us/form/60633970768163

Form Views count is not correct Image 1 Screenshot 20

Your website is live and the form is vieable on the website. This is how the form accumulates View count.

To clarify also, on your account, the Form View count is not for a single form only. It is the consolidated views count of all the forms under the account.

Hope this help clarify the matter. Please let us know how we can be of further assistance.

I have a similar situation where even before I share a form being designed, the form view count goes up. I don't have that many forms (todate), so the activity is not that high.  Although I am in process of embeding some forms to web pages.

Does the counter include when I view/test the form design (through the web, notjust a preview) ?

"Viewing" a form, especially when embeded, is every time it is touched through a browser ?

I find myself tweaking the CSS to get some of the responsive aspects a tad better (ex: shrink an image if viewer is narrow). This cannot be truly tested and validated with the preview or designer which tend to simulate not quite 100% true to life.

Should I make certain the form is not "activated" when doing such testing/validation to avoid the extra views being counted ?

Should we avoid embeding forms to web pages ?  Maybe you should count the views, but not be including that count as a limit to our accounts ...  If I have a 100 embeded forms, current limit is 100,000 views = 1000 views of each of those forms.  that's not much, eh ?!   People might go to these web pages without bothering with the embed form on each visit.  The number should be at least factored by the number of forms ... of course, the counter are very roughly "monthly" ?

    Thanks.

I am having the same issue.  650 views and just posted the form.  I have live traffic views of all visitors to our website and there are NO visitors on the form pages, so where did those 650 views come from?
