    Sending a thank you response to an email

    How can i send a thank you response to an email that is fill out on a form different from the source comptuter?

    I am not entirely sure what you mean?

    Looking at what you wrote I believe that you want to send a thank you email - like an email autoresponder that is sent when the form is submitted, but the part about the form and the source computer is something that I am not quite sure of what you mean.

    Could you please give us a bit more details and we would be happy to assist with the same?

    Hi Ben,
    We have created a form that would send out to the appropriate audience. That form would include information such as an e-mail address that they would like a thank you response to go to vs. the computer that the request was sent to.
    i.e. We created a form that would request information including their e-mail address, that form might be filled out on behalf of someone else and we would like the thank you response to go to the email address that is filled in on the form vs. it being auto generated back to the originating computer. I hope this clarifies a little better.

    Thank you for the additional information. If I understand what you wrote correctly, you want an automatic email to be sent to an email address that will be entered on the form by a user.

    That is how our autoresponders work, they automatically send an email to the address that is filled in on a field, regardless of what computer or device was used to provide / enter the email address. You can read more about how to set up an autoresponder in this guide:

    For example, if any user entered an email such as support@jotform.com into the email field, and autoresponder is set to send emails to this form field, it would automatically send the autoresponder email to support@jotform.com address from within that field.
