Dropbox problem

I switched my notification address today and now I get no notifications. Furthermore, I have dropbox integration activated, but the dfs are coming up blank. The last two days have been extremely frustrating to say the least. The last issue was this: I use your forms as an inspction checklist, so I go back and revisit the form using the edit function, to update my inspections. I load photos of the weeks inspections. Yesterday, for some reason, if did not show the current photos, but reuploaded the preious weeks photo. Later, the correct pictures showed up. I lost over 3 hrs yesterday trying to correct and understand what went wrong. Please try to be more reliable, ok?

Bill, the developers have been putting in place some changes in response to the events of last week. While we tried to minimize the impact on our users, unfortunately some of our them, depending on which domain they are using, may have suffered from some transient problems with their forms.

We can only apologize for the frustrations you have endured, but can assure you these changes are only being implemented to ensure greater robustness and reliability of our service going forward.

Now we need to tackle any outstanding issues you may have.

    1. Email notifications:

I have checked your form and dont see any email notification configured at all, is that intentional? You may want to recreate the email notfification, this user guide article explains that process. Please let us know if any problems persist after setting that notification email up.

    2. Dropbox integration returning 'blank' files.

Is this problem still occuring? Can you please try removing your Dropbox integration & recreating it? To see if it helps the situation. If it doesnt, let us know & we will get it sorted out for you.

Email is fixed- my mistake. Dropbox still doesn't work. - I get blank pdfs/photos show up. Also, system seems extremely slow downloading pdfs from the submission page. All in all, I would have to say your service has seriously deteriorated. I hope you get it straightened out soon. Its costing me time and money and too much frustration.

Yeah I understand that frustration completely. All I can say in response is, that the JotForm team is working extremely hard ironing out these niggly issues and things will settle back down again soon.

This issue with Dropbox has been escalated to our developers, you will be updated as soon as its been resolved.

If this problem with 'extremely slow downloading of pdfs from the submissions page' persists for any length of time i.e more than a couple of days; can you please report it back to us and we will take a closer look at it.

    Thanks.

thanks for the speedy reply. the folders showed up in dropbox 2x,once
empty and then one with the correct files in them.

Downloads still seem to hang, given the small file size being downloaded

Consumer dropbox solutions are convenient but lack necessary security for businesses and enterprises. Michael Osterman, President of Osterman Research, discusses this topic.
