Mandrill no longer offer a free service so unfortunately using them as a solution is no longer an option.
Is there another option to achieve the same result, getting a sender email to appear as the form submitters email? Can paid subscribers to your service not have this option built in?
This is a re-post of a comment on Set The Sender Email Address With Mandrill Account

Unfortunately at the moment we don't have an alternative, but I will create a feature request so that our developers might consider an alternative. We'll contact you via this thread once we have more details.
Although it is not the same you can consider adding a custom sender address to your notification:
Let us know if we can assist you further.

I'm sure there are many users that require this functionality. I agree with OP this needs to be a function. I was under the impression that using your own SMTP server you could achieve this, but setting up your own SMTP server just is another way yo have a validated account.
Please jotform add this functionality
