Can we add a capacity limit to our options?Asked by Brittany Embury on March 15, 2016 at 11:09 AM
We used JotForm last year for Summer School registration and it worked great, except that we could not put a capacity to some of our class options. This forced the Summer School Coordinator to have to continuously look at the option numbers in a spread sheet and either call families to say there wasn't enough space or create a waiting list for everything we went over in.
I'm wondering if we create options within a title, is there a way that we can cap the amount of times that option can be selected and then removed from the list without the coordinator having to constantly download and check it? And if not, is there a way to create a plug in for that feature?
If you need an option to be limited to a certain amount of selection you could use the 'Appointment Slots' Widget. You will need to add the fields that have availability limit to the widget along with the number of time they can be selected.
You can check Demo to view the setup.
