I would like to know if I can Clone a form with its data as a form of a backup (e.g. data captured in 2015 must be kept separately from data captured in 2016, using the same form) ?

    Hello MyUWC,

Unfortunately it is not possible to clone existing form along with its submission data but with with a little workaround, it is possible to achieve your requirement. Here are the steps you should follow:

#1. Clone the existing form you have in your account. The following guide should help you:  http://www.jotform.com/help/27-How-to-clone-an-existing-form-from-your-account

#2. Export the submission of your main form in excel format:  http://www.jotform.com/help/44-How-to-Export-Form-Data-to-Excel

#3. Take advantage of our "Import App" to import data from excel file to your cloned form:  http://www.jotform.com/help/308-Import-App-Easily-import-your-Excel-or-CSV-data-into-JotForm

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!

This didn't work for me. Cloned the form, downloaded the data from the original form, tried to import it into the new cloned form and I got errors. How is this possible. The cloned form should have the identical column headers as the original. The data should go seamlessly from one to the other.

    See picture below.
