I haven't tried MailJet, but I believe you can use MailJet to send email thought them by setting up an SMTP relay: https://www.jotform.com/help/244-How-to-Setup-SMTP-for-a-Form

I couldn't get to configure the SMTPS on my MailJet account I just opened, since I need to contact their tech support to verify my account, not really sure what happened, I need to wait for a response.

Please give it a try, and let us know your result.

Thanks. I think it would be useful if this was tested by the JotForm team and confirmed as a good (free) solution, like you did with Mandrill.

I checked the Mailjet documentation and I can see that it is possible to use Mailjet to setup SMTP for a form. Simply enter your SMTP credentials in the setup: How to Setup SMTP for a Form. To view your Mailjet SMTP credentials, simply check out this guide: https://app.mailjet.com/docs/getting_started#getstarted-smtp-cred.

    Regards.

but this, like setting up any other third party SMTP server, only makes the sender email the one you use to setup the setting in Jotform - its not a mandrill replacement that allows you to set the sender email address to one of the parameters from your form

Looks like the workaround shown here is only for Mandrill's SMTP: https://www.jotform.com/help/240-Set-Email-Field-as-the-Sender-Email-Address-for-Notification-Email-with-Mandrill

So, the request to allow to choose the form's email field as the sender in the email notification has been already opened on the following thread: https://www.jotform.com/answers/794748, we will need to wait to see what our developers can implement as an alternative to Mandrill.

You will be notified about any progress on that thread request(https://www.jotform.com/answers/794748). If you need anything else, please open a new thread, we will be glad to assist you.
