Can a user "add" a field?

Hi Guys,

On one of my forms I need to collect data that may have several parts.  For instance people can list the propertied they own.  Is there a way that I could show the fields for one property and have an "add another property" button that reveals another set of fields for the next property.

I need this feature for people with multiple children, multiple mortgages, multiple credit cards etc etc

Trying to capture lots of data while showing the minimum fields to people.

I'm not sure if I understand your query correctly. Do you mean to allow your users to add additional field data on the form? If so, it is possible by using one of the following widgets.

User Contributed Radio Buttons

User Contributed Dropdown

User Contributed Checkbox

No this is not quite what I need.  Lets say a user has 5 credit cards.  I need to know the type, limit, interest rate and balance of all 5.  However I don't want to show room for 5 CCs on every form as some people only have one.  I would like there to be an "add credit card" button and each time it is pressed it reveals another set of fields where the required info can be entered.

Is there a way to set this up?

I believe it is possible to fulfill your requirement by using the Configurable List widget.

By using the configurable list widget, you can setup certain fields and the user can choose to add more if they have multiple children or properties by clicking the "+" or "Add more" button.
