Make Fields Requiring Inputs

    Hi,

Two quick questions. I have the form set-up for allowing a person to select 1-24 creditors to fill in data about in the form.

    1) I already have all of the fields as Required. Should I leave them as Required, even though a person may only have say 4 creditors in which to input and there is a maximum of up to 24. All 24 are currently marked as Required. Should I unmark the Required or Unrequited in those fields and use the conditional required programing to require them for the number of creditors they have chosen?

    2) How do I make fields dollars, with a dollar sign and decimal point?

    Thanks,

    Mark

If the fields are hidden, then regardless if they are required or not, the form will submit. The form will only validate your inputs if they are displayed on the live form.

If your case, when you set the "Number of Unsecured Creditors" to 24, then 24 creditor fields will be shown and all of them are required, you'll need to fill out the 24 creditor fields for your form to submit. If you set the "Number of Unsecured Creditors"  to 1, then only one creditor field set needed to be filled out. The ones hidden will not be required automatically even though you have set them "Required" in the form builder.
