Form Views count completely went wrongAsked by adminweingutsteitz on March 22, 2016 at 07:23 AM
Hello JOTFORM team!
Within the last days I have encountered problems with the view count of my account. As by today it seems that someone had set the view count to "0" - thank you so far. It would have been great if somebody would have replied to my tree support submissions over this contact support form or my email.
I still think that the form view count has still a bug. If I use the JOTFORM Analytics tool it states that I have 27 views of the form since the count was reset to "0". In my account the total view count shows already 45 views. How can that be?!? I would never expected JOTFORM to release a "Green Banana Product" which is delivered unripened and has to ripen at the customer...
I really think you did not for good with this view count thing in sense of customer satisfaction. Especially for small businesses which get in average over the year of 16 orders per month it's hard paying $ 240 per year.
Irreal some post by JOTFORM team members concerning the abusive use of your platform which I can understand. But punishing your loyal long time users for the abusive use of some others is not correct! You rather should work on a way how to eliminate the bad guys...
I see that your previous queries have indeed been answered:
https://www.jotform.com/answers/799048 (where my colleague reset your form view count)
https://www.jotform.com/answers/798338 (where my colleague explained why Form Analytics may not show the correct count)
Please take a look at the replies posted there, and let us know if you need any further clarifications. In addition to what my colleagues posted there, I would like to add that your Form View count is for views of all your forms combined, while Form Analytics shows data for only one form at the time.
This means that while a single form can indeed have only 27 views as in your screenshot, your total number of views is higher due to including all the other forms in your account. When any one of your forms is loaded, it increases the total Form View count by 1.
If you want to set your Form View count to be unlimited, you can enable the JotForm Footer from within your account settings:
This will add a small "Powered by JotForm" footer to your forms, and your form view count will be unlimited. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.
