On one page it says you can get more ? for $9.95 per month. If I upgrade in a couple of days, will, it affect my form in any way?

Are you referring to Get More (https://www.jotform.com/myaccount/getMore) feature in your account? This feature allows you to get the increase of submissions for your account permanently as mentioned on that page. 

If your account has reached any of the limits, the forms shall be disabled and no further submissions can be received. You may wait for the submission counter to reset on the first day of the following month or upgrade your account so that can receive further submissions.
