Default to certain dropdown if certain date is selectedAsked by RichBitch on March 23, 2016 at 07:16 PM
Hi, on my form, I would like Christmas Eve automatically selected in the 'reservation type' dropdown field if 24.12.2916 is input in the date field.
Also the same for New Yeasr Eve.
Is this possible please.
Yes, it's possible. You just need to add a conditional logic to update the dropdown with the exact value when the date is equal to your preference. Here's the exact condition that you should add:
You can copy/paste the text option from the dropdown field to the conditional logic. It should be the same text from the dropdown.
Here's a clone version of your form showing the update in the logic for 12-24-2016: https://form.jotform.com/60827131534956.
I'm sorry, I forgot to add the guide. Here's the guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/268-How-to-Insert-Text-or-Mathematical-Caculation-into-a-field-using-a-Condition.
You should select the Update/Calculate Field condition;
I'm sorry, I have posted the incorrect screenshot of the condition. It should be the Christmas Eve - €15 option. I've corrected it now. Please check again.
