I want the 1st page of my form to have  a table of contents of sorts- so if they click on a heading, it takes them to that sub pge of the form. They can navigate back & forth through subpages as well.  So respondents can choose which subpages to fill. Then save results.

They can come back again & modify existing records/ update other subpages whenever they want.
    Can this be done?

It is possible to create to multi-page form using the guide below:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/119-How-to-Create-Multi-Page-Forms

Unfortunately, there is no direct feature to have Table of contents to navigate to each page on the form. However, you may consider taking a look at the Form Tabs widget to achieve your requirement.

Please take a look at the following form that can help you to understand better with Form Tabs.

You may clone this form to your account to see how it is setup.

Hope this information helps! The other question on saving and editing is moved to a separate thread and shall be answered there shortly.
