    Empty required upload fields on certain submissions - Attachment missing

    Our form is set up so people must upload documents before they move to the next page and also everything must be complete before they can submit the form.  The last three forms that have been submitted do not have the upload documents attached.  I contact you when this first happened and you had me add something to track the browser information.  Now that we have the browser information - how can you fix it so I can read the uploaded documents. this form worked great for three years.  I don't understand what changed. What can you do / I do to correct this problem?

    I listed both URL one is an introduction page (so they can return to the form if they can't completed at one time) and the other is to the actual form.

    Hello,

    Since the second form is pretty long people can miss fields easily, so every fields that is not optional must be set as required.

    I tested the form: United States Lifesaving Association - Application and Curriculum Checklist, what I noticed is that every required fields ( as well as uploads ) must be filled before submitting or even jumping to next page. There are several upload fields that are not required, you should expect them to be empty on submissions because they can be  missed easily.

     

    I even submit the form to verify that all the uploads was submitted . See bellow

     

    I would suggest check all fields that are not optional and set them as required.

    If uploads still missing for required fields we will raise the issue to Development Team so they can get it fixed the quickest possible.

    I saw that your uploads came through. However, the last three applications that were submitted did not. How can I fix it so that all uploads can be opened once submitted? Each of the past three agencies uploaded documents, they were not large only a page or two.  Something is happening that is not allowing the uploaded documents to appear on my end. One of the three forms, I could see the link, but they would not open. 

    I need to be able to see and open the uploaded documents from everyone form submitted. 

    I would appreciate any help you can give me.

    Hello Kay,

    I did check the submissions of your form #32653911116853 and found that there are few submissions which does not have any uploads. User should not be able to submit form without uploading a file because your file upload questions are required field. 

    Have you embedded your form in any webpage? Please share your webpage URL and we will take a look.

    No - when this happened last time you all asked  if we had embedded it and we doubled checked. teh answer was no. That is when y'all told me to add in the browser info - so if it happens again you could see if it was related to specific browser.

    I have tried with different IE versions, apparently I was not able to replicate the problem.  It's possible that a glitch happened in the system and may have been resolved before the issue was reported. However, we'll continue to do tests. We'll keep you posted if we find any issues.
