    Hello

We use JotForm to receive donations via our webpage and we have received about 10 email notifications of $1.00 donations and the name registered is complete jiberish. I just want to make sure that our account is safe and cannot be hacked?

Please contact me at 619-297-7683 ASAP thanks!

    Yes, your account is secure.

The forms and submissions are transmitted securely with a 256 bit high-grade encryption. You can also log into JotForm site securely and download your submission reports over a secure connection using https://www.jotform.com.

We provide a very high security through out our hosting provider's servers for stored data. We have a very powerful cloud of servers in SSAE16 Audited facilities which provides security protection against malicious attacks like SQL injection and denial of service (DOS) attacks.

We're also Safe Harbor certified. Please see our Privacy policy here.

I have checked submissions of the form you provided and I saw that latest submissions are jiberish.

Was your form encrypted at some point? I also saw that you have sub user accounts. Did they maybe tested your form? Can you please make test submission and see if the issue persist?

Also it is possible that some of your users made test submission.

    Looking forward to your reply.

Here are some options to avoid people submitting your form multiple times, the first one is by adding a limit on the amount of submissions that can be send, please take a look on this guide for further information about this: http://www.jotform.com/help/64-How-to-Set-Unique-Submissions-on-a-Form

Other option would be that you provide us with the IP addresses that are sending those submissions, we could ban those IPs if you consider that they are spamming your form, here is a guide to view the submitter IP: http://www.jotform.com/help/31-How-to-See-IP-Addresses-of-Form-Submitters

You may also add a captcha to your form, here is the widget: http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/google_recaptcha

This guide will help you to add the widget to your form: http://www.jotform.com/help/252-How-to-Add-a-Widget-to-your-Form
