    Hi

since the new UI for setting up email notifications your cant put a form parameter (e.g: {approverEmail}) in as the receipient email address when setting up a notification email template.

I was doing this before, as the notification email templates you can attach the PDF.  This was very useful.  I know you can put a link to the PDF file in the email (autoresponder template) but that's not what I want.  The functionality use to be there - and now its not.

I actually note that in my other forms that were created before the change - the email recipient in a notification email template is actually a form parameter, but when you try to setup a new notification template it wont let you.

Please help and put this functionality back.

Yes as you already noticed it is not possible to add the email field as recipient on the email notifications anymore, when you try to do it on the new email wizard the value is deleted automatically.

I think that this functionality has been removed because it is the same as you were creating an email autoresponder, now you can do the same on an autoresponder, attach PDF files, send this autoresponder email when the submission is edited, here is the guide to add an autoresponder to your form: http://www.jotform.com/help/26-Creating-a-Form-Autoresponder

I have to let you know the new feature that as been implemented recently, an autoresponder email is added to your form as soon as you add an email field.

Regarding to your question about the PDF form, I'm not sure if understood your question, however, on the new wizard you are able to attach the PDF file as well, you only need to open the email wizard and click on the Advance Settings tab.

Once there you only need to check the option to attach the PDF file on the  email:

Regarding to the autoresponder, and I think this is why you are trying to add the email field on the notifier instead of the email autoresponder, to attach the PDF file of a submission on autoresponders you can only do this by including the link, do let me know if I'm correct in my understanding about this, so we can escalate this as a feature request.

Now, you are able to load the old interface of JotForm, you only need to load this link: http://www.jotform.com/?old

Then you will be able to apply the workaround that you used to apply using the old interface.

Thanks for your very comprehensive response.

Its good to know I can go back to the old UI and still use the adding of a form field to the notification email template.

In regards to the PDF attachment - you can only attach a PDF to the notification email template, not the autoresponder - that's what I was talking about.

The work around that I have found is to use conditional logic and set a new email recipient.  In the conditional logic I can assign a form variable to be the receipent email and then use a notification email template, which allows me to attach PDFs.

Again thank you for the comprehensive response, but I have a work around or I can go back to the old UI if required as you demonstrated.

    You're welcome.

Great, that is a good workaround as well, I just checked and seems like you are able to add the variable as on the old UI, and yes if you want to set conditions such like this you may go to the old UI where this can be applied.

On autoresponders, yes it is not possible to attach a PDF file on the same way as on the email notifications, I will escalate this as a feature request, so there could be an easiest way to attach a PDF file on autoresponders.

Although we can provide an ETA about when it could be implemented, we will make sure to let you know if this comes available.

    Hello,

We've implemented PDF files on autoresponders! Now you can attach PDF's to your autoresponder emails.

In order to use this feature, you can simply follow the steps explained below:

    1. Open Emails Wizard on builder.

    2. Select autoresponder email that you want to attach PDF.

    3. Click on Advanced tab.

    4. Check the Attach checkbox in the PDF Attachment section.

Then, your responses will be sent together with the attached PDF file.

Hope this helps for you. If you have any questions about PDF attachments, please let me know.

    Thank you for using JotForm!

Is it possible to attach more than one PDF to an autoresponder e-mail?
