Problems setting up Dropbox integration

    Hi, I've set up Dropbox integration previously but can't get it set up on my latest form and in trying to find out how I did it before I seem to have stopped it working on my previous forms too.

    Some questions, with apologies if the answers should be self evident:

    In your instructions, what does "First of all, you should have an upload field on your form to integrate your forms with Dropbox. This way, you will directly receive uploads to your Dropbox in no time." mean?

    Can I integrate different forms to different Dropbox accounts?

    How do you set up responses to go to a specific folder within Dropbox? I had this set up for previous forms but I can't see how to do this in this new interface and the old forms that used to work no longer do so since I tried to see how they were set up!

    Although my forms show as having integration with Dropbox, none of them actually sends a response to Dropbox any more. How do I fix this?

    The upload field is the field you are using for file upload. Dropbox integration collects the uploaded file and stores it into your account. Dropbox integration stores the files uploaded through your form so the upload field is mandatory so this integration could work.

    Thanks Nik_C

    I suspect I'm confusing two separate things.

    Am I right in thinking this has nothing to do with getting form responses to upload to Dropbox and is just a mechanism to allow a respondent to attach a file?  I don't want to upload a file - just for the form response to be saved to Dropbox.

    I don't have an upload field in the form I'm currently trying to save to Dropbox (where the interface says integration is working - though it doesn't seem to be) nor did I have in previous forms where integration has worked so can I assume an upload field is not mandatory for integration to work.

    Thanks

    @Garethwjones,

    You are right, the Dropbox integration should work even without the file upload fields. We are currently having a temporary issue with the Dropbox integration. Our developers will make sure to fix the issue as soon as they can.

    We will inform you via this thread once the issue is fixed.
