    processing payments

    So I have form with payment on it that is not being processed until I log in to Jotform and manually complete the sumbission. How can payments be submitted automatically? It didn't even notify me that the form was submitted and payment incomplete.

    Please respond asap. I would prefer to go over this on a phone call to make communication easier, is that possible?

    We are sorry for the delay.

    You will have to set up PayPal Instant Payment Notification service in order to solve these problems.

    This is a pain, I had one of these forms set up and it didn't make me manually process the payment that I remember... Do all payments through jotform have to be manually processed?

    Sorry for the inconvenience. Payments do not have to be manually processed as long as you configure your Paypal IPN settings correctly.

    For your convenience, I have copied below the correct instructions provided by fxr:

    Go into your Paypal account, Click on the Profile menu, select My Selling Prefences 

     

    Midway down the next page is a 'Instant payment notifications' field, select click on the Update button to the right of it. 

     

    Click Choose IPN Settings, Enter http://www.jotform.net/ipns/paypal.php into the Notification URLtext box and ensure Receive IPN Message (Enabled) radio button is selected. Click Save.
