Can I put a limit on more than one field in a workshop registration?

I want to make a form where users can register for an all-day event providing workshops at several different times. For each workshop time period, I need to limit how many people can sign up. I did find where I could limit form submissions, but I want to limit the number of people in multiple fields. Is this possible?

I'm not sure if I understand your query correctly. I understand that you do not want to limit the submission count from the Form Preferences.
