    Hi there,

    Please see the differences:

    Not working:

    http://www.jotform.com/form/10565343954?fullName[prefix]=Dr.fullname[first]=CNC%20FR%E4se

    Working:

    http://www.jotform.com/form/10565343954?fullName[prefix]=Dr.&fullName[first]=CNC%20FR%20E4se

    Space = %20

    Id separator = & (Ampersand)

Just be careful with the parameters. Every single symbol is very important :)

Please let us know if you have further questions. Thank you so much!

Thanks for the tips, so it would work, after the click of a button, the link is then transformed and wrong in the address bar

with Opera, Firefox and Safari and it looks like this does not work
    http://www.jotform.com/form/10565343954?fullName[prefix]=Dr.&fullName[first]=CNC%20Fr%E4ser

Interesting that it is not converted when IE8, so it would work
    http://www.jotform.com/form/10565343954?fullName[prefix]=Dr.&fullName[first]=CNC Fräser

one has an idea why this is, am a little confused at the moment, I do not know how I could fix the problem

    Hi there,

You should use this one: http://www.jotform.com/form/10565343954?fullName[prefix]=Dr.&fullName[first]=CNC%20Fr%C3%A4se

I can see that yours is E , please try changing that to A, like this link above.

I just tested it and its working on Firefox 11, Opera 11, Chrome 17, IE 8. Although some of the browsers converted %20 into real space but it's still working.

Just let us know if you need any further assistance. Thank you!

It's not even accessible to some of my colleague's PC who are on different locations. Please check, thanks.

Yes, the domain is even returning 403 Forbidden Error. I asked some my colleagues yesterday to check your link but the same error is shown, as they said.

Sorry but both links are still not accessible at this moment.

Please let us know if the link is ready. We would be happy to assist you at anytime. Take your time.

I have on my page encoding iso-8859-1 use, for example ä = %E4
    JotForm uses the UTF-8 for example ä = %C3%A4
when I enter manually %C3%A4 does it work for me too, but the link is automatically generated and converted.

Because the 403 error I have no solution for us in Europe, the website is working properly.

    nice greetings from Austria

You can actually change the form character encoding but I don't think this would help. You need to download your form's full source code to do that. Please try it and let us what your results are.

I think your page isn't viewable on asia, not sure about that, but some of my colleages can't also view it. We're on diffrent locations from Philippines.

    Thanks.

From the beginning, I use the full source code, but unfortunately there are
    no images directories (/images/calendar.png)

When I viewed it so it works only in IE8:
    http://jotform.com/form/20451458929?jobNr=90&bewerbungAls=Fräser

is in all other browsers is converted
    http://jotform.com/form/20451458929?jobNr=90&bewerbungAls=Fr%E4ser

sorry I have no better news

Ok, I see that there was some changes on the form's full source code. Kindly point those images to http://www.jotform.com (e.g. http://www.jotform.com/images/calendar.png) and one more important thing is change submit.php to http://submit.jotform.co/submit/10565343954/ (10565343954 is your form ID).

My suggestion for this is to use the actual form of character on your link like ä (e.g. http://jotform.com/form/20451458929?jobNr=90&bewerbungAls=Fräser), this way the browser would decide whether what encoding it will be converted. Example, my browsers character encoding is UTF-8, so ä is converted to %C3%A4.

http://jotform.com/form/20451458929?jobNr=90&bewerbungAls=Fräser this link is perfectly working on my side, so I think prepopulating it this way would also work to some other users.

Is there anymore issue related to this on your part? Please let us know. Thank you so much for your patience.

    @jcm,

Maybe this is an ISP related issue, I'm not quite sure about that. Two of my colleagues can't also view this, odd. Anyways, thanks for informing us it's greatly appreciated.

My browser apparently does not use UTF-8 for the conversion. On my side "ä" is converted to  “%E4”,
and I do not know who of our customers uses UTF-8 in the browser.

Generally it would not be such a big problem, if the related field would be left blank when UTF-8 is not used.

But the problem is that, at the moment the loading process of the form can not be finished and so the form can not be send by the user (i.e. The capture field does not load and the file upload button is not shown).

    Humanix,

The form itself is working fine here. If your form doesn't work properly after embedding it to your website, please try to re-embed it using iFrame code. I'm sorry though if I can't help you further with this as I am still having problem accessing your website.

Going back to your propulation issue, is using ä directly onto your form link doesn't work? It does work fine here, UTF-8 or even ISO-8859-1.

Thank you for your patience to this. Have a great day to you.

    I see the problem.

On the form with no parameters the captcha works fine:

    http://form.jotform.com/form/20451458929?

But on the form with parameters it does not:

    http://form.jotform.com/form/20451458929?jobNr=90&bewerbungAls=Fr%E4ser

We opened a bug ticket about this. You should probably not use captcha or the parameters until this is fixed.
