Preferences is different and Hide Empty Fields is no longer there. Where did it go?

My form has been working fine for months, hiding empty fields on the email. But when I went back in to edit something, it started showing all fields again. I went into Preferences to set Hide Empty Fields back to enabled, but Preferences looks different, and Hide Empty Fields is gone. Where did it go?

    Hello mariekinsella,

I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.

Our design team has made some changes in the UI and rearranged the options of form preferences. Let me check and get back to you on "Hide Empty Fields" option.

    Thank you!

Do you have an answer for this yet?

As my colleague had mentioned, the preferences are no longer showing the Hide empty fields option and the reason is that our design team removed it from the same in the new GUI.

Unfortunately it is still not available in any of the new GUIs, but it is possible to get access to it over the old one.

To access it, you just open your form to edit it and add &old at the end of the URL.

For example, if this is the form URL when you open it in the builder:

    http://www.jotform.com//?formID=1234567890

the link with the old parameter would look like this:

    http://www.jotform.com//?formID=1234567890&old

Since this will load all of the old wizards and you might want to use the new ones, you can switch to the new ones by removing the old and adding "test". This is how that would look:

    http://www.jotform.com//?formID=1234567890&test

As you do all the new wizards would be loaded.

This can be used any amount of time to switch back and forth, but if you are doing so, please make sure that you save the form before switching, or the changes will be lost.
